Edges & Corners

Step 1

WRAP FRONT

Cover the front surface, leaving enough overhanging material to cover all four sides.

For a 5/8" thick edge, you'll want about an inch of overhang on each side.

Step 2

CUT WINGS

Insert knife near one corner and draw outward to form 2 "wings”.

Make sure your knife is sharp!

Step 3

WRAP THE FIRST SIDE

Crease the edge at a 45º angle.

Gradually fold over the side so the material sticks evenly.

Take your time. If you make a mistake, peel back and re-apply.

Step 4

FOLD WING

Fold one of the wings under the wing next to it.

Step 5

TRIM WING

Trim the wing vertically...

And remove the pointed section.

Step 6

TRIM BACK EDGE

Use your (sharp!) blade to trim away excess material from the back edges.

Step 7

WRAP REMAINING EDGES

Repeat the above steps for the remaining edges.

Step 8

TRIM REMAINING TABS

Cut vertically along the corner edge to remove the overhanging wings.

Don't worry about cutting perfectly...

Apply forceful pressure along the seam.

Step 9

SAND CORNERS

As a final, optional step, you may gently rub the seam on the corner with medium or fine-grit sandpaper so that no edge can be felt. But don't overdo it!
