Combing the pages (err...feeds) of the Internet we come across a lot of DIY headboards. Tables as headboards. Doors as headboards. Pallets as headboards. But one step beyond the INSERT-OBJECT-as-headboard is the headboard-as-INSERT-OBJECT. Hack the hacker, ya know?
This hack of an IKEA Mandel headboard does just that turning the horizontal, wood-strip headboard into a self-proclaimed "super feature wall" with shelves. Both a creative use of the product and an innovative take on living accessories, this IKEA hack shows how little it takes to transform a small wall with a few personal tokens (and what looks like a grown-up beverage!)
